Marathon Profile: Rome Marathon

Tonight’s profile is of the Rome Marathon. If you are looking for a spring marathon to train for, the Rome Marathon sounds like an excellent choice.

When looking for a race to profile tonight, what really stood out about this one is that it seems to take all of the main attractions in Rome. The race starts off at the Colosseum and takes in the Vatican City, Trevi Fountain, the Olympic Stadium, the Spanish Steps and others before bringing you back to the Colosseum for the finish.

As an added bonus, once you finish the race you get to enjoy all the great food and wine Rome has to offer!

If you are going to travel to a destination marathon this just might be one of the easier ones to convince your spouse to travel to whether they are also runners or not.

If you would like more information you can read some race reviews here.

Is this a marathon you have completed or have on your list of must do races?
