Nutrition for Runners: Slow Cooker Butter Chicken

IMG_0320Tonight’s recipe is one we enjoyed last week. If you have a slow cooker at home this one is easy to make. It takes six hours to make in the cooker so once you have it going you can about the rest of your day while it cooks.

This recipe is well worth trying. We found it to be much better than the store bought jars of sauce. It is also much lower in sodium than those sauces.

Once it is ready you can serve it over cauliflower or brown rice and have some naan bread on the side!
