Saturday Stories

It is time once again for another edition of Saturday Stories, a collection of some of my favourite stories and blog posts from the past week. As always, if you came across anything you feel is worthy of mention here feel free to post a link below.

Here are this week’s stories…

More proof of the benefit to holding big running events in cities, Ottawa Race Weekend generated $27.8 million in economic activity.

Another record for Ed Whitlock. He is inspiring, seeing him finish just ahead of me to set the record was a highlight of the day for me.

Are you an annoying runner?

Here are a few nutrition tips for runners.

Here is a good post on the use gels for running.

  1. Thanks for linking to my post! And great story on Ed Whitlock. What an inspiration. I ran in the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon last weekend and was hoping I’d see him, but he’s waaaay too fast. 🙂
