Nutrition for Runners: Refried Bean Burritos

Tonight’s recipe is one we came up with this week. It is another easy recipe to make. All you need are:

  • Refried beans – my wife made her own after finding an easy to make slow cooker recipe online.
  • whole wheat tortillas
  • shredded cheese
  • sour cream
  • tomatillo salsa
  • chopped tomatoes

We have enjoyed this recipe twice this week already. As I mentioned it is easy to make and if you are looking for a vegetarian alternative it is an added bonus.
