Tonight’s recipe is a healthy take on pizza. This whole wheat pizza crust my wife and I have used on a couple of occasions comes from the WeightWatchers New Complete Cookbook.
This recipe offers a more nutritious option to the usual pizza crust made with all-purpose flour.
To make this you’ll need:
1 1/2 cups of warm water
1 teaspoon sugar
1 package dry active yeast
1 tablespoon olive oil
3 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/4 cups whole-wheat flour
1 1/2 teaspoons of salt
Once you have the dough ready top as you see fit. We tried have tried a few different combos and even tried cooking the pizzas on the bbq which worked out well.
