Since it is late I am just going to make this a quick post tonight. On the schedule for tonight was a 10 km run. As an added incentive the plan for tonight was to hit up a pub for a pint after the run.
As a result we stuck close to home with our running route and stopped by a pub close to home. The thought of beer and nachos seemed to make the run go by quicker tonight as it provided an extra incentive to get the run finished. Even though we ran at a fairly easy pace tonight’s 10 km was over almost as soon as it started.
Do you find that post-run incentives like this help you get through a run?
