Saturday Stories

Once again here is a compilation of some of my favourite stories and blog posts from the week.

As always, if you came across anything you think is worthy of mentioning here don’t hesitate to post a link below.

Late blunder almost costs runner the title at Grandma’s Marathon.

My profile of the Antarctica Marathon Wednesday attracted the attention of someone who is running the race. Dean will be running the race next year and race money for a great cause in doing so.

Here’s a great story about a runner who saved the life of another runner during a half-marathon. It sure shows how valuable knowing first aid and CPR can be. Somehow he still managed to finish the race after saving a life!

Running through the pain: 11 year old girl falls and breaks her wrist during a 4.2 km race and keeps going!

Former homeless man to run Seattle Rock N Roll Marathon.

Finally, the next #runchat is tomorrow night. If you’re not doing anything at 8:00 check it out on Twitter.
