Recently I participated in the virtual Run for Christchurch in support of victims of the earthquake that struck Christchurch, New Zealand.
As you are surely aware, Japan was recently hit hard by a massive earthquake and tsunami. This morning I came across a Run for Japan campaign. Organizers are hoping participants will cover 24,901 miles (right around the world) in 28 days. You can also join the discussion on Facebook or follow @runforjapan on Twitter.
Participation is easy. Organizers ask that you dedicate one of your runs to the campaign, upload a picture of yourself and a caption to the website and make a donation to the fundraising efforts.
I plan on supporting this effort between now and the weekend.
