Tonight out of curiosity I decided to take a look at my training plan in order to see how much mileage I will complete this month.
After the first seven days of February I have completed 68.5 km, for an average of nearly 10 km per run – I have not yet taken a rest day since I started running again this month.
The Bart Yasso plan I am following calls for me to finish with approximately 258 km (160 miles) which places me ahead of the 200 km I ran in February of last year.
I don’t have any races planned for this month but so far I have not had any trouble keeping myself motivated for my training runs.
Hopefully the added mileage will prove to be beneficial come race day in May.
