Snow Day

Due to the snow we received overnight there was about two – three inches of snow on the ground when I went for my run, would be perfect conditions for skiing if I could take the day off work!

It made for a pretty slow run because the roads and sidewalks in this part of the city had not yet been plowed. I managed to get in 8 km in 43 minutes. If that was not enough I ended up shovelling the driveway and sidewalk in front of the house as when I got home.

  1. Running in the snow can be fun, especially after the first few snow storms and when it is dry powder snow like we have ight now. The wet and heavy snow is not as much fun to run in.

By the time we hit late January and February there will definitely be days where I will envy the weather you are running in 🙂
