I was able to get back on track this morning after taking the day off yesterday. As planned I woke up early and went for my run before getting ready for work.
The conditions were not as bad as I expected. Instead of the wet and icy conditions I was expecting, I stepped outside to find about an inch of snow on the ground. Most of the roads and sidewalks had been plowed as well which helped with my footing.
I managed 11.2 km in 58 minutes. The plan now is five more runs of at least 10 km for the rest of the week.
