Stress Relief from Running

I find running to be a great way to relieve stress after a long day. I am not sure what it is but I can go for a run after a long day and feel completely relaxed and recharged when I finish. Here is an article that explains what may cause this feeling.

Today was a perfect example of that for me. I had planned to run before work this morning but the fact that I stayed up later last night to watch the end of a hockey game meant that I would have to run after work. After a long afternoon at work I went for a 10 km run and felt much better by the time I got home, certainly much better than I would have had I simply taken the bus home.

I am planning to return to my early morning routine but at least for today it certainly worked out for the best that I delayed my run until later in the day.
